The 17th International Congress of Minimally Invasive Surgery Techniques was held on October 11-13, 2022, in Shahid Sadoughi Hospital, Yazd, with the presence of more than 200 laparoscopic surgeons from Iran and the other countries.
Laparoscopy or minimally invasive surgery is a new technique that allows the surgeon to access the abdomen and pelvis without making large incisions on the body. So, using this surgical method has many advantages, such as shortening the hospitalization period, and reducing surgical complications and patient costs.
In this congress, which was held with the aim of exchanging information and experiences of experts in the field of minimally invasive surgeries, eminent surgeons from South Korea, America, Italy, Spain, UAE, Iraq, and Afghanistan participated in online and in person.
