Luminance Stabilisation System

Changes in luminance can affect gamma characteristics that interfere with accurate image analysis. The luminance stabilisation system uses an integrated luminance sensor and ambient light sensor, automatically compensating for luminance changes due to startup drift, temperature change and aging.

Digital Uniformity Equaliser

Highly consistent luminance is maintained across the entire display area.

Easy networked administration

The optional LMD-SN10 Display Network Manager kit allows remote management of up to ten monitors from a central PC workstation.

Compliance with DICOM Part 14

Adding the LMD-KT10 Calibration Kit (optional) allows precise adjustment of luminance levels and greyscale characteristics to achieve compliance with the Greyscale Standard Display Function (GSDF) defined by DICOM Part 14.

Flexible display positioning

The display’s tilt/swing, height and rotation can be easily adjusted for comfortable viewing in any clinical environment.

VESA Mount Compatibility

The LMD-DM20 complies with the 100 x 100 mm hole spacing VESA-mounting standard, simplifying installation in a range of medical environments.

New-generation DisplayPort interface

In addition to a standard DVI-D interface, the LMD-DM20 is equipped with a new-generation DisplayPort interface. This supports 10-bit input signals for smooth, accurate reproduction of differences in displayed images with 1024 shades of grey. (Requires customised viewer software and a graphics card that can display 10-bit images).

Luminance and Gamma Preset

Luminance and gamma can be adjusted and stored as three presets. This allows easy switching when viewing images from different modalities.

On-Screen Information Display

Information including actual luminance measurement, calibration settings, total operating hours and product serial number can all be displayed at the touch of a button.

LED Indicator

A coloured LED on the display bezel gives visual confirmation of power off/standby, calibration and luminance stabilisation.

For medical use

The LMD-DM20 is certified as suitable for use in professional medical applications. It is listed and complies with these European medical regulations:

Safety: EN 60601-1
EMC: EN 60601-1-2
EC Directive: MDD Class I
